AIM iMOVE NDMC - Establishment of a "Centre of Competence" in Solar Energy

Upon the request of NDMC, Alliance of Indian MSMEs (AIM) has been coordinating with iMOVE to establish a "Centre of Competence" in Solar Energy - A State of the Art Solar Energy Vocational Education and Training Centre & Technology Transfer Centre in India.

On the 26th April, 2017 Mr Dinesh Rai, IAS (Retd.), Chairman AIM, Mr Arunachalam Karthikeyan, Founder Board Member, AIM and Mr Juergen Maennicke, Senior Adviser, iMOVE met Mr Naresh Kumar, IAS, Chairman, NDMC and discussed on the possibility of establishing a "Centre of Competence in Solar Energy" in New Delhi to cater to the needs of the New Delhi NCR Youth as well to Train the Trainers who will be placed across India.

On the 28th April, 2017 the basic concept note was prepared and discussed with the NDMC Officials and there will be a Tripartite Agreement which will be signed among AIM, NDMC and iMOVE on establishing this cenre.

NDMC will be the owner of this centre, while iMOVE will provide the necessary knowledge (Knowledge Partner) and AIM will be the Industry Partner in mobilizing the Industry to nominate trainees, trainers and after the training the candidates will be placed by the Industries.

The NDMC Officials / Experts will be visiting Germany during the third week of June and visit probably German Institutions who are offering Solar Energy Courses, which will be coordinated by iMOVE Officials.
