About AIM

AIM is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a pro-active role in India’s development process. AIM is India’s premier business association with a direct membership of over with present voluntary membership of 45 Associations, representing 15 states and approximately 50,000 MSMEs in India.

As a facilitator, AIM catalyses change by working closely with the government on policy issues, enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and expanding business opportunities for Indian industry through a range of specialised services and global linkages. It also provides a platform for sectoral consensus building and networking. Major emphasis is laid on projecting a positive image of Indian business, while assisting the members to identify and execute corporate citizenship programmes. Partnerships with over 150 NGOs across the country carry forward AIM’s initiatives toward integrated and inclusive development which include health, education, Solar energy, livelihood, diversity management, skill development and water, to name a few.

AIM works across diverse industry sectors to raise efficiency, productivity, excellence, and sustainability and customize global best practices in Education, Training, Human Resource Development, Industrial Relations and Corporate Governance, to enhance Indian enterprise at the firm as well as at the sector level. Showcase the prowess of Indian industry to the world; Promote innovation and internal competitiveness; Build capacity and capability across technical and qualitative metrics; Meld business excellence, environment conservation, energy management, and consumer protection; Foster cooperation and collaboration; Catalyze the globalization of Indian industry and integration into the world economy; Develop institutions, systems and

processes to help; MSME become more innovative, market oriented, and customer- focused, to move up the value chain.

AIM has been recognized as a Start-up working in “Social Impact Industry and NGO” by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

AIM is been chosen as an Implementation partner of iRaise Project of Ministry of Renewable Energy & GIZ and AIM has been working very closely with Automotive Component Manufacturers’ association (ACMA) in the area of Capacity Building for MSME component Manufacturer’s.
