22years of professional experience in the fields of building capacities to Business Membership Organisations (BMOs), Employers Federations across India, Government Affairs, Marketing Communications, Policy Advocacy for MSMEs, Social Sector Development, Chamber Development,Development Cooperation, Organisation Development for BMOs, Foreign Economic Affairs, Vocational Education and Training / Skill Development, Training, Statutory Compliance, Financial Accounting and Audits for BMOs, Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises in India and Trade enhancement between India and Europe. Worked with Consulting (Anubhav TQM & HRD Facilitators), Statelevel (TANSTIA), National level (Confederation of Indian Industry) and International Industry Associations (Indo German Chamber of Commerce) and Trade Organisations for MSMEs and Large corporate in India.
Implemented ZDH / SEQUA Partnership Project between 10thJanuary 2006 until 31 December 2016 sponsored by Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Germany in building capacities of Industry Associations, Sector specific Associations and State Level Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 12 states in India directly and worked with more than 50 Industry Associations in 20 States of India. In 2010, established sequa gGmbH – Liaison Office in India and started the ZDH / SEQUA Partnership Project in Central and North India.Additionally, implemented EU-India Economic Cross Cultural Program (ECCP) (24 months) between 2006 and 2007 to promote trade between India and Europe.
Co - Founded Alliance of Indian MSMEs (AIM) an Association of Industry Associations and Employers’ Federations across India in 2014.
Legal Adviser and Head for iMOVE (International Marketing of Vocational Education and Training, Made in Germany) activities in India, under the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Germany. The objective of iMOVE is to create awareness and facilitate the Indian Industry to take lead in Vocational Education and Training (VET) eco-system so that it becomes sustainable. Currently facilitating Government to Government Partnerships between India and Germany VET initiatives and supporting Indian Skill Service Providers to identify suitable Germany (Institutions) Partners for establishing Centre of Excellences (CoEs) in the areas of Mechatronics, Welding Technologies, Industry Mechanics and Domestic Technicians – a much needed skill in all the developed and developing Metro / Smart Cities in India.
