Mr. Virender Shukla

Virender Shukla joined AIM as Adviser-Skill Development in June,2020, after working 37 years in Government and private sector like DGT, Good Year, HAL, Escorts, Gemco and Quest in the area of production, project management, business development and training. He visited hundreds of industries and training institutes in India to promote apprenticeship training and improve quality of training. His industrial experience clubbed with experience in VET have helped him to bring about qualitative changes in VET. He also visited various industries, vocational schools and university of Applied Sciences in Germany to understand their dual system of apprenticeship training, where he was also trained as Master Trainer.

Virender Shukla has completed his under graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, and a Master’s in Industrial System Engineering from KNIT,UP. He completed his MBA from IGNOU.
